As the director - academics, I am filled with immense pride and enthusiasm as I witness the remarkable potential each one of you holds. Last year as we implemented National Educational Policy, there were many new skill based and value based course to earn credits, which received much appreciation. As you move forward, keep your goals in sight but be flexible with your methods. The path to success is rarely a straight line, and sometimes the detours lead to the most rewarding experiences. Stay focused, stay determined, and believe in yourself. You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream and pursue till end. The curriculum has been designed to enhance your potentials and aptitude. Today innumerable doors are getting opened to receive your thoughts and ideas. Remember to stay curious and open-minded. College is a melting pot of ideas and perspectives. Engage in discussions, question the status quo, and allow yourself to be inspired by the diversity around you. SIES Centre for Excellence (CoE) was set up in the year 2008 to bridge the gap of academia and industry. The Centre completed 15 years on 18th August 2023 with more than 70 career based offline and online courses in collaboration with various institutes and organizations to enhance employability and enrich the skill of students. In keeping with its vision and mission of imparting quality education, the college provides academic autonomy and operational freedom to its teachers to devise and implement diverse and innovative teaching methods. The college has taken cognizance of the serious issue of employability ga, suffered by the undergraduates across disciplines. In order to bridge this gap and enable the students to achieve high employability and entrepreneurship potential, the college has visualized and established a special skill development unit of an autonomous nature as an ancillary body in the college campus and it has been aptly christened as Centre for Excellence. The Centre works towards the holistic development of the students by conducting workshops, seminars, and skill-based training programs The Centre along with the existing courses provided within the college premises has expanded the horizons of learning curriculum by removing restriction of study in classroom. Keeping the hectic pace of the students life in mind and the better way to enhance the career opportunities of students along with the existing value-added course, the Centre provides them online certification courses which are recognized by government organization conducted by well-trained resource person which will be acknowledged during job recruitments. The courses are customized as and when needed to meet the professional needs. To keep up with the pace of NEP, the Centre provides a series of certification and training programs to add on to the students credit and career profile.
